21 Clausura del XVII Capitulo General

Desde primera hora de la mañana, en la Eucaristía de clausura de este XVII Capítulo General, agradecimos a Dios por su misericordia con cada una de nosotras en este tiempo especial de gracia y de discernimiento. Llegamos con el corazón lleno a la meta final, pero es el término de algo que se cierra, sino a una semilla que es germen de la nueva vida, la nueva etapa que afrontamos como Congregación.

En sus palabras de despedida, nuestra Priora General Sor Mary Jeanet Pintacasi, nos recordaba que “la vuelta a nuestras comunidades es el tiempo para asimilar lo vivido y que llegue a dar frutos de vida”. “Hemos tenido experiencia viva de la presencia del Espíritu en nuestros diálogos sinceros, en la fraternidad y en la apertura de corazón, con el objetivo de escuchar y seguir la voluntad de Dios en el

hoy de la historia”.

“Hemos dado pasos significativos para fortalecer nuestra identidad y misión en comunión congregacional”. El lema “Caminando juntas para transformar nuestra vida y misión”, es una llamada a continuar el camino con renovada esperanza y compromiso.

Tuvo también palabras de agradecimiento para la Provincia de España que nos ha acogido como madre en este tiempo, y al Equipo de gobierno anterior que inició y dio impulso a los cambios que la Iglesia universal, hoy, nos está pidiendo. 

A María, nuestra Madre, bajo la advocación de Ntra. Sra. del Rosario, y a nuestro Padre Santo Domingo, encomendamos la protección y guía de lo que ahora comienza, que Dios que comenzó la obra buena, sea quien la lleve a término para que gozosas anunciemos el Reino.

From the early hours of the morning, during the closing Eucharist of this XVII General Chapter, we gave thanks to God for His mercy toward each one of us in this special time of grace and discernment. We reached the final goal with hearts full, but this is not the end of something that closes; rather, it is a seed that contains the germ of new life, the new stage we now face as a Congregation.

In her farewell words, our Prioress General, Sister Mary Jeanet Pintacasi, reminded us that “the return to our communities is the time to assimilate what we have experienced so that it may bear fruits of life.” “We have had a living experience of the presence of the Spirit in our sincere dialogues, in fraternity, and in the openness of heart, with the goal of listening to and following the will of God in the today of history.”

“We have taken significant steps to strengthen our identity and mission in congregational communion.” The motto, “Walking together to transform our life and mission,” is a call to continue the journey with renewed hope and commitment.

She also expressed words of gratitude to the Province of Spain, which has welcomed us like a mother in this time, and to the previous governing team that initiated and gave momentum to the changes that the universal Church is asking of us today.

To Mary, our Mother, under the title of Our Lady of the Rosary, and to our Holy Father Dominic, we entrust the protection and guidance of what now begins, so that the God who began the good work may be the one to bring it to completion, and that we may joyfully proclaim the Kingdom.
