Este primer día de trabajo Capitular, comenzó con la Eucaristía del Espíritu Santo, presidida por el Obispo de la Diócesis de León, Luis Ángel de las Heras, quien además es religioso claretiano.
En su homilía, invitó a las hermanas a ser mujeres consagradas, misioneras siempre en salida, haciendo nuestras los gozos y las sombras de los hombres y mujeres de hoy, también a través de la escucha durante este momento que estamos viviendo como Congregación. Para el cual, además, nos exhortó a que las grandes decisiones de este Capítulo tuvieran por centro la “celebración Eucarística diaria, pues es en ella, donde el Espíritu habla mejor, libre de todo condicionamiento, y donde suscitará aquello que nos está pidiendo”.
La jornada continuó en ambiente de adoración, con un significativo momento de invocación al Espíritu. Durante la misma, hemos podido conocer más de cerca el estado de la Congregación en diferentes facetas.
Un día de intenso trabajo, pero que nos deja el corazón lleno de satisfacción por las maravillas que Dios obra a través de cada Hermana.
The first day of Chapter work began with the Eucharist of the Holy Spirit, presided over by the Bishop of the Diocese of León, Luis Ángel de las Heras, himself a Claretian religious.
In his homily, he invited the sisters to live their consecration as outgoing missionaries, embracing both the joys and struggles of today’s men and women—especially through attentive listening in this graced moment we are living as a Congregation. He urged us to root the Chapter’s major decisions in the daily celebration of the Eucharist, where the Spirit speaks most freely and clearly, unencumbered by any condition, and where we will hear what is being asked of us.
The day unfolded in an atmosphere of adoration, highlighted by a meaningful invocation to the Holy Spirit. During this time, we also deepened our understanding of the Congregation’s current reality in its various dimensions. It was a day of intense work, yet it left our hearts filled with gratitude for the wonders God accomplishes through each Sister.
