Primer día de Retiro Espiritual

 En el mEn el marco de la fiesta de San Benito, quien fue modelo de entrega a través de la vida consagrada a Dios, comenzamos nuestro tiempo de reflexión para preparar el corazón y la mente para el Capítulo General.

Lo hacemos a través del acompañamiento del P. Francisco Javier Caballero, redentorista, quien nos invitó a ver la autoridad como la responsabilidad de todas y cada una, vivida en actitud de servicio y fraternidad. Para que desde la libertad que nos regala el Espíritu, salgamos primero de nosotras mismas,  nuestros intereses, deseos... logrando la madurez espiritual, que es la entrega consciente de la vida por los demás.

In the context of the feast of St. Benedict—an exemplar of self-giving through a life consecrated to God—the Dominican Missionary Sisters have begun a time of reflection to prepare their hearts and minds for the upcoming General Chapter.

 Guided by Father Francisco Javier Caballero, C.Ss.R., the sisters are invited to reflect on the theme of authority, understood as a shared responsibility. Fr. Caballero emphasized that true authority is lived out in a spirit of service and fraternity. He encouraged the sisters to embrace the freedom offered by the Holy Spirit, inviting them to move beyond personal interests and desires toward spiritual maturity—a maturity marked by the conscious gift of one’s life for the good of others.
